Day ten

As a result of rain yesterday i didn't get a chance to get much finished sadly but lets hope for a better day today :) back in a bit

Woohoo, anyway, where did i leave off yesterday............... Oh yeah i had just got the rusty bits sorted and sanded back the paint work right so what i have decided now is to go two tone on the paint job but that will be shown later .  ANYWAY HERE WE GO :)

This if you remember is what i started off with, like i said yesterday it was to bad once i had cleaned it off, oh yes i smiled when i saw it wasn't a hole.

so after a job of removing paint and rust sanding down, i finally got the filler, and lobbed it on LOL . and also done the door as well as you will see on the next picture.
So slowly getting there now, i still think filler didn't used to stink this bad, hold on *sniff* it may be me LOL
Anyway after a good hard sanding , its started to come together and using a 400 grit Wand D it has a nice smooth finish but can you see the bit of rubber hanging off the trim?? well i decided to fix that as well , so took a little bit of the trim off for an inspection and found another hole LOL

This one again hadn't rusted through either i decided to treat it as i had with the others, but didn't bother to fill it as it hidden by the door trim, I'll only do it if i have to for example, taking the trim off for good .

So ive set about priming the area, this is what made me decide on a two tone colour. as i think it will look great.
And i guess, that only time will tell if im right, i hope so, because i want it to be as good as i can get it, for a novice im doing ok i think :).............. After i finished, and removed the paper, i think it started to look ok :) what do you think ?

Anyway off for now, hopefully will be back later, for another update, and if not, i will catch ya again tomorrow, take care all :)
