Last week i aquired a 1995 Vauxhall Frontera, for as many bad things that have been said about them, i think they are great cars, this one is a bit on the shabby side, but i love her, i just got rid of my 2001 vectra, OK OK OK i took a time warp backwards, but i took a memory trip to when i used to FILL SAND AND SPRAY old heaps 18 years ago, and just wanted to see if it would still feel just as fun.
SOOOOO im hoping you will like to join and watch how it comes along.
I suppose for its age it doesnt look bad but this baby is rusty, i found in close inspection bubbled paint work MILLIONS of chip, and what looks like someone had walked around it with the caretakers set of keys :p , i will post pictures when i can and hope it starts coming along,
Ive Just started on the corner on the front bumper that you can see in the pic, when i removed the rust and killed it , there was a hole big enough to stick a brick in.
In the red circle in the bumper section i was talking about, you can see the top is rusted, what you cant see, is the paint work underneath , bubbled and rusted all the way through. in the yellow circle you can see the bonnet raised, this is due to a front end collision by the last owner, and never got if fixed, so this will be done at the same time. so for now, wish me luck and back again soon.
