another day

Off to Halfords in Telford today, pick up another primer and a black and see if the weather will calm down enough for me to finish the bumper and the skirt below it, i doubt it will though, the weather is atrocious and no signs of it letting up at all, on the up side the Mrs has got herself a new camera and i got her old one, good enough to do the pictures for this blog, so that's great :) will edit and add more later today :) back soon :)

As promised I'm back now, here is a few more pics .

This is the other side of the bumper this side is not as  bad as the other was but as you can see it is quite rusty and hope to have this side done in a few days before finally priming the bumper and under skirt, think i will go completely black from the bumper down.

As you can see from what i side in earlier post, the indicator units need replacing or at least the lens covers if i can find them, and just in the top right corner you can see a rust patch on the bonnet, which will be tended too shortly.

This is the colour I'm hoping to end up with, i done this panel as a tester, what do ya think?
i think it looks pretty cool to be honest.
i know there is lots and lots of small jobs to do, and one or two big ones a reckon. i have a feeling the suspension on the n/s will need doing as it seems to have dropped slightly on one side.

Previous Owner

I Bumped in the last owner today, very strange , that's never happened to me before, lovely old man, who told me in no uncertain terms that it "never gave him a days trouble" but had the radiator replaced, it had a water leak, needed a little welding lol but never gave him trouble. but he said he had some bits and bobs from when he had the car, all brand new, and said i was welcome to have them which was really nice of him.

Frontera parts are getting harder and harder to come by, but I'm trying.
some of the things i would like to find in a scrappy

Indicator Units.
Nudge Bars
Spot and Front fog lights
Side Steps (running boards)
O/S and N/S wings
ETC ETC ETC

and just do my best to do what i can.

Anyway off for now, and hopefully back tomorrow with a completed bumper and primed.
